Warren Harding Eusan, a native of San Antonio, enlisted in the Army Air Corps after graduating from Wiley College in 1940, with B.A. Degrees in Sociology and Education.
His selection for advanced training after initial assignment to Tuskegee Army Air Field sent him to Bryan, Texas, where he integrated the Base Instrument Command Flying School. After graduation, Mr. Eusan returned to Tuskegee teaching instrument flying until his discharge in 1946.
Mr. Eusan returned to San Antonio, working as a teacher and later as School Liaison for the Superintendent of the San Antonio Independent School District. During his tenure with the school district, Mr. Eusan earned his Masters of Education degree from Atlanta University (now Clark Atlanta University) and completed additional post-grad studies at Our Lady of the Lake University, Trinity University, and the University of Texas, before retiring after 44 years of service.
Remaining active after “retiring”, Mr. Eusan held positions as adjunct facility member at St. Philip’s College, and supervisor with the San Antonio Play-grounds and Recreation Department, San Antonio Neighborhood Youth Organization (SANYO), and the Department of Economic Development of San Antonio.
